Ary’s doctoral research, supervised by Prof. Munir Skaf and supported by FAPESP, focused on polarizability effects on the structure and dynamics of ionic liquids using molecular dynamics simulations. He is now on the faculty of the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM), Manaus, Brazil.
