Allan completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at Unicamp in 2019, with part of his doctoral research conducted at the University of Washington under Prof. David Baker on protein design. He was a postdoctoral researcher in the Skaf group at the Center for Computing in Engineering and Sciences (CCES/CEPID-FAPESP) from 2019–2021, before moving to Northwestern University, where he is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology.
